Good attendance is very important as absences and tardiness hold the entire class back.  We hope that each student will attend every class with the exception of “illness” or “family emergency”.

Makeup lessons will be available in case of illness or emergency from September through April only.  No makeup classes will be available in May because we will be preparing for our Recitals.

Girls are required to wear a leotard and tights (any color) to all classes.  You may add bikers or lycra jazz pants. Form fitted tops are also acceptable (as long as they do not extend past the student's bottom) with bikers or jazz pants. No skirts (attached or unattached) are allowed in the dance rooms.

PREFERRED DANCE SHOES

Pre-school - Pink full sole ballet shoes by BLOCH & black tap shoes by DANSHUZ, which comes with a gripper sole and elastic in holes.

School Age - Beige Jazz Shoes by SO DANCA and Black Lace up Tap Shoes by SO DANCA (has gripper sole).

Older Students will also need a Beige Jazz Shoe by SO DANCA, but will need a full sole lace up Tap Shoe by BLOCH (#S0381).

Boys should wear shorts and tee shirts with a "Super Jazz Shoe by Bloch" in black and black lace up tap shoes.

We recommend purchasing your dance shoes at a Dancewear Facility in order to insure your child a shoe with flexibility and support.

The children’s dance shoes should be brought to classes in a bag labeled with their name.  It is also important to label all shoes with your child’s name.

Students dancing in our school for three years in a row will be awarded a trophy during the last lesson of the dance season.  Each year after, the student continuing their dance training will be presented a larger trophy.

Recommend a new student and receive a free dance school tee shirt.
