Good
attendance is very important as absences and tardiness hold the
entire class back. We hope that each student will attend
every class with the exception of “illness” or “family
emergency”.
Makeup lessons will be available in case of illness
or emergency from September through April only. No makeup
classes will be available in May because we will be preparing
for our June Recitals.
Girls are required to wear a leotard and tights
(any color) to all classes. You may add bikers or lycra
jazz pants. Form fitted tops are also acceptable with bikers or
jazz pants. No skirts (attached or unattached) are allowed in
the dance rooms.
Pre-school
students need pink leather ballet shoes and black
tap shoes with elastic sewn in the holes. (no tap buttons
please)
School age dancers will need a “Super Jazz Shoe
by Bloch” in beige, and black lace up tap shoes. (no ballet
shoes required for school age dancers)
Boys should wear shorts and tee
shirts with black jazz shoes and black tap shoes.

We recommend purchasing your dance shoes at a
Dancewear Facility in order to insure your child a shoe with
flexibility and support.
The children’s dance shoes should be brought to
classes in a bag labeled with their name. It is also
important to label all shoes with your child’s name.
Students dancing in our school for three years in
a row will be awarded a trophy during the last lesson of the
dance season. Each year after, the student continuing
their dance training will be presented a larger trophy.
